Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: June 2026

Tested Tools (testedtools.co.uk) participates in affiliate marketing programmes. This means we may earn a commission when you click certain links on our site and go on to make a purchase — at no additional cost to you.

What This Means

When you click an affiliate link and buy a product, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale price. You pay exactly the same price you would if you went to the retailer directly. The commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.

Which Programmes Do We Use?

We currently participate in the following affiliate programmes:

  • Amazon Associates — As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases made through our Amazon links.
  • Other UK retailer programmes where relevant (we will update this list as new partnerships are added).

Does This Affect Our Reviews?

No. Our reviews and recommendations are based entirely on our own testing and research. We do not accept payment to write positive reviews, and we do not adjust our ratings or verdicts based on commission rates. If a product is not worth buying, we say so — regardless of whether it carries an affiliate link.

Products that earn us a higher commission are not given preferential treatment in our reviews or buyer’s guides.

FTC & ASA Compliance

In line with guidance from the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), we clearly disclose our affiliate relationships on all pages where affiliate links appear. Look for the disclosure notice at the top or bottom of any review or guide containing affiliate links.
